Information to place your eQ Pedicab Purchase Order
General
All orders must be submitted electronically, fax orders are acceptable with signature. Telephone orders are not acceptable. Upon receipt of your order we will send you an acknowledgement by email or fax confirming receipt of your order. Our acceptance will take place upon your receipt of our confirming notification. A 50% deposit is required at the time the order is accepted by us, see Payment (s) policy. Also we encourage you to contact your bank regarding the benefits of "using a Letter of Credit (L/C)".
Note that local taxes, insurance, permits, Title Certificate (if required), are your responsibility.
Delivery Schedule: We will inform you as soon as possible of a ship date. Typically, shipping is completed within 2-4 weeks.
Delays: Occasionally, the manufacture of your pedicab (s) may be delayed. This can be for various reasons such as material shortages, transportation delays or higher than anticipated demand. We will, of course, make every effort to keep you informed.

How Letters of Credit Work
Letters of Credit represent the issuing bank's obligation to pay the beneficiary or seller when, in the bank's determination, as evidenced solely by the documents presented by the beneficiary or seller (in our case the factory, GEM SA de CV), has shipped the pedicab(s) and performed the transaction accordingly and complied with the terms and conditions stated in the letter of credit. In other words, the bank acts on your behalf by ensuring that we will not be paid until your bank receives confirmation that the goods have been shipped according to the agreed terms: ·Letters of Credit are issued by a bank of your choice on your behalf, and include such terms as description of goods, shipping date, payment term, and required documents, such as:
